Addiction Treatment

Opioid addiction is a chronic brain disease for which Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) with buprenorphine and Vivitrol have proven effective. Dr. Molly Rutherford is board certified in both Family Medicine and Addiction Treatment, with more than a decade of experience treating opioid addiction.

Evidence clearly shows that treatment with medications such as methadone and buprenorphine/naloxone decreases criminality, injection-drug use and behaviors known to spread HIV and hepatitis C.

Similar to medications for diabetes or ADHD, the medication allows patients the chance to live productive lives and have meaningful relationships — without the all-consuming cravings for opioids that highjacked their lives.

Addiction Treatment at Bluegrass Family Wellness is provided by specialists in the field, and you or your loved one will feel welcomed, not judged by our compassionate staff members.

Dr. Rutherford is a family physician, and she is willing and able to address all of your mental and physical healthcare needs. Ask Dr. Rutherford about her direct primary care practice if you are interested in addressing all of your healthcare in one location.

If you have an HRA or FSA, use it to pay your monthly fee.
